At first, they were not going to allow video commenting because they thought it would just be distracting, but then after hearing from a teacher at a hearing impaired school, they decided that it would help add to their experience if they could see what was happening in the video signed out, as opposed to just typed out.
2. By doing this, they allowed the people with hearing impairments to see and feel the emotion in the movement of the person signing out to them.
3. The creators of Voicethread are working very hard to make the site accessible to anyone who would like to use it.
4. They are working on a new project call Voicethread Universal which only focuses on using software with assistive technology.

2. I especially found the 7th grade radio advertisment video interesting because the students were able to post ads and then the students could post comments and feedback on them.
3. The second grade I Spy voicethread was also great! The students were able to use pictures and their voices to say what they spy on the screen. The text also accompanied the speaking and pictures on the screen.
4.The first grade voicethread where the students exchange comments about the books they read that are their favorites. This is a very easy way to tell all of the children about their books without just having to read all of them.
5. The best part about it is the pictures that they show of the students with their books.

1. The first thing I want to make sure to incorporate in my voicethread is video commentaries so that Jace and Angela can actually see me speaking and feel the emotion in my voice about how great it was to work with them throughout the semester.
